We scrutinize every step of development
We select the best components from which to begin developing our materials. After which we carry out rigorous tests to ensure their quality and eco-compatibility.
Physical characteristics
We then test the physical properties of these materials in a laboratory, looking at whether or not they meet our expectations in terms of how they perform mechanically and their chemical composition, ensuring they are well within regulatory limitations.
Biodegradability
Our materials also undergo physical tests to ensure that chemical degradation transforms at least 90% of them into carbon dioxide, water and minerals within 6 months.
Disintegration
We also test for physical degradation, making sure 90% of the materials decay physically within 12 weeks from the start of the testing procedures.
Eco-toxicity
We plant organic seeds into the compost produced by the previously described processes and verify that the plants that grow are not altered biologically by the compost in question.
